What is the Alt code for making a checkmark?

Unicode Requirement notes check marks as 2713 and 2714 hexadecimal for basic and vibrant in the Dingbats typeface. These equate to 10003 and 10004 in decimal. In Microsoft Word with numerical lock on hold down alt and type 10003 on the numerical pad then struck the area bar. u2713 u2714
