If you are interested in starting your own business, would like to take your existing business to the next level, or are looking for special training for a start-up or family business, consider joining one of the fastest growing majors in the nation at one of the strongest programs available — Belmont University’s Center for Entrepreneurship.
Belmont’s program has been named as one of the Top 25 Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Programs in the country by The Princeton Review and has also been recognized as a National Model Undergraduate Program for Entrepreneurship Education by the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE). In 2010, our program was featured as one of five schools to consider when studying entrepreneurship by Fortune magazine.
Belmont’s innovative, award-winning program enables students to get involved in one of several student-run businesses on campus and provides students with the resources and support necessary for them to start their own businesses. Approximately 3,500 square feet of prime retail space in the Curb Event Center has been set aside by Belmont University for students to use to develop retail or service businesses — Buzzy’s, Feedback Clothing Co, and BLVD Music Shop are currently operating in this space. This program gives students the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in managing a small business.
